I honestly can’t remember the last time I was intrigued by a PlayStation Plus monthly game, but it looks like June is going to be a pretty exciting month for PS+ subscribers.
Announcing June’s free (if you pay for a subscription) games, Sony has confirmed the following two offerings:

Borderlands The Handsome Collection
To get you all hyped up for the release of Borderlands 3, June’s first PS Plus game is the one and only Borderlands The Handsome Collection.
The compilation originally released back in 2015, and comes with both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, plus all of their accompanying downloadable content, enhanced local multiplayer, and the ability to transfer save data from the PlayStation 3.

It’s a pretty sweet offering if you’ve yet to jump into the classic FPS games (and relevant, considering Borderlands 3 is launching in September).

Sonic Mania
The next and final offering for June is Sonic Mania, the 2017 game that got everyone remembering how a Sonic game should be.
Released as a part of Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th anniversary, Sonic Mania looks and feels distinctly Sega Genesis, with the classic speedy side-scrolling gameplay we all know and love.
Both titles will be available to download (and keep, providing you stay as a PS Plus subscriber) starting next week on June 4.
There’s still a few days left to nab yourself May’s PS Plus games, which will be leaving on June 3.

What Remains of Edith Finch and Overcooked! are both titles worthy of your games library.
What do you think about June’s PS Plus subscription freebies? Are they are a yay or a nay from you?
