What will be playable in Far Cry 5 over the free weekend?
The entire main campaign will be available whether you play solo or with a friend in two-player co-op. Though Far Cry 5 is a pretty large game, so if you complete it from start to finish over the weekend, that’s some good going!
An estimated playthrough of Far Cry 5 should take you about 10-15 hours if you’re just going for the story, which is totally achievable if you’re not doing much else this weekend.

To prepare for the Far Cry 5 free weekend, you can pre-download the game from now, so that you’re good to go.
Will my progression carry over if I decide to buy the full game?
Yes, your progression will carry over should you decide to buy the game when the free weekend has ended. Better still, Ubisoft will be offering discounts of up to 85% off on the game and the season pass during the free weekend.
