Rockstar Games makes games that make you want to kiss your fingers Italian-style, they’re that good. The last big release came last year with Red Dead Redemption 2, which was then followed up with its online counterpart, Red Dead Online.
RDR is just one of the gems that Rockstar has under its belt though, with the likes of Bully, L.A Noire and of course – Grand Theft Auto – all being guaranteed big-sellers should a new game release.
Now that we’re nearly a year away from the launch of RDR2, we all want to know what Rockstar is up to next. Is it GTA 6? Is it Bully 2? Who knows?!
Well, according to one developer, Rockstar is actually working on multiple unannounced projects, or at least, it was as of 2018 [via ComicBook].
Angith Jayarajan, an employee at Rockstar India from June 2017 to March 2018, referenced “a couple of games” that he was working on at the time that can’t yet be named. Sounds very interesting…
“I worked at Rockstar games. I worked on Red Dead Redemption 2 and a couple of games I can’t name yet,” said Jayarnjan in StayAbode post on Instagram.
It’s a safe bet to say that one of those games will be Grand Theft Auto 6, despite no official word from Rockstar. It’s been over six years since the release of GTA 5, and with a new Xbox and PlayStation console due to launch next year, it would make sense for Rockstar to want to release the game on the new platform.
GTA 5 is one of the biggest-selling games of all time, and there’s pretty much no chance that a 6 isn’t in the works.
There’s also the never-ending rumours of a Bully 2, which could possibly be one of the other games the developer is referencing.
Only time will tell what’s coming from Rockstar Games, but if it’s as good as GTA 5 then I’m happy to wait!
